Carl Buchheit PhD has been called the father of transformational changework. Gifted teacher, humble genius and pioneer in the field, his unique body of work is the secret sauce behind hundreds of thousands of transformational coaches, therapists, and change practitioners around the world. Carl's unique genius and wisdom is world famous (in Marin County). Carl trains from the heart, backed with a brilliant intellect, insatiable curiosity, and unconventional humor. Carl’s first encounters with NLP (integrated with clinical psychology) came via the business world in the 1970s, and he first encountered systemic constellations in 1990. But he explored and experimented with these modalities through a metaphysical lens. Carl noticed that human beings on this planet seem to reliably figure out what they want, then somehow create wiring that ensures they don’t ever get it, not really. The originators of this remarkable body of work could rewire underlying patterning in an instant. It was truly impressive. But Carl asked how come that patterning got there in the first place? What’s the purpose behind all this pain? What’s the compassionate intention behind an infinite consciousness choosing to get its neurology wired up in this way? What is the Family Soul? What is it working in service of? Why does it behave so strangely? How does it get us to behave in ways that are so contrary to what we really want?

Over nearly four decades Carl developed Marin-style NLP (MNLP) to go beyond the conventional techniques into a philosophy-grounded practice. If conventional NLP is about procedures, MNLP is about people. This mindful co-active approach to transformation helps to change things that truly seem unchangeable. Alumni from Carls private school in Marin County have served millions of clients between them and have become indispensable among everyday families and Fortune 500 executives alike. Through his private practice, he has personally helped over 40,000 clients create lasting transformation, usually in just one or two sessions. At his school students learn to elegantly use MNLP within the family system and use the family system within MNLP. And to generate more and more and more inner, outer, deeper, higher and cosmic rapport every step of the way.
