INNER HABITS is about transforming best intentions into automatic behaviors and results by embracing the surprising power of inner rapport.
THE BOOK
This program is the practical companion to the forthcoming new book Belonging and the Brain: 9 Inner Habits to Stop the War With Yourself by Carl Buchheit PhD and Jade Barclay (December 2015). When you enroll in the course you will get instant access to a summary of the book, including the 9 inner habits and the 15 inner practices (and you'll be eligible for a special advance copy of the book before the official launch).
This book is the first in the Inner Habits series. The next two in the series will be published in 2016. Students enrolled in the Inner Habits online seminar will get advance notice on the books as they become available.
THE TINY HABITS® FACEBOOK GROUP
All members also have access to our facebook group that focuses on applying Tiny Habits® and Inner Habits to a specific aspect of life each month. Based on the most common goals and New Year's resolutions, we'll be converting big goals into tiny habits and making them automatic together. Here's the rough outline for the next 12 months (if you want to join us):
- November: Nanowrimo (writing+focus+flow)
- December: Declutter+tidy+being organized
- January: Money+prioritizing+burnout-proof New Year
- February: Love+affection+respect
- March: Super-study+speed reading+memory
- April: UnBusy+brain-life balance+cooking
- May: Low-exertion fitness+family fun
- June: Inspired action+creativity+Play!
- July: Reaching out+delegating+asking better questions
- August: Kindness+curiosity+listening
- September: Goals+decisions+procrastination
- October: Mindfulness+aware appreciation
- And every month is celebration month!
THE CURRICULUM BONUS
A number of counseling, personal development and coaching centres have expressed interest in adding our book to the curriculum for their students. For anyone who puts any of our books on the required reading list for their university or college course, we will gift your school one keynote presentation, with one or both of the authors as a guest lecturer for your class*. If this is you, send us a copy of your required reading list (with our book included on the list) and we can get the ball rolling.
*within reason - travel and schedule TBD. A virtual lecture or Q&A session with the class may be arranged if neccessary.
